Over the years we have found many ways to teach others what
we know while showing them how to have fun with precious metals. Unfortunately, it isn’t necessarily an item
made for fun and play, ultimately it is an investment. Where the fun begins is
when you decide to delve in a little more into these items and find out what type
of history they carry with them. Many have a history that date back to the 1800’s
or more and yet others can tell us of a more recent time such as the creation of
the Federal Reserve and how precious metals were affected directly or indirectly by
that creation.
Coins that date back a century or two ago call tell us a
great deal about that era and it’s community. How did commerce operate?
I’m sure
you can always get this type of information from the history books as you
should however, it is the props from the past that help put that story together
and helps us paint a bigger picture. It is the time it takes to gain this
valuable knowledge that makes it worth the while and also makes you a savvier
investor and coin collector.
We have done a really good thing recently that we hope will benefit
